Ruined Gate

This ruined gate is actually from the Boxed Set "Blood on the Streets", the set of buildings for Mortheim. I made shingles from 1x1 cm cardboard tiles glued to the original roof with white glue. The base is from foamcore, covered with WhiteGlue and then with birdsand. The walls are covered with ready-made filler, which gives some texture and takes the look of being "only" a cardbuilding.

I then undercoated with ChaosBlack spraypaint, then drybrushing everything, including the base, with CodexGray. The base was then drybrushed with a light brown, highlights  with BubonicBrown. The shingles were painted individually with Red, I dont like drybrushing on them that much and they were not too many shingles :) 

Voilá, another terrain piece finished ! Overall time: maybe an hour ? (without drying time, of course...)
